1) What is the main story on the front cover of the Times CSP edition and why does it appeal to Times readers? the Front cover is of the cop26  and  show  Boris Johnson and Emmanuel Macron  not meeting eye contact suggesting they don't get along.



2) List the other news stories and kickers on the front page of the Times CSP edition. Why do you think the Times selected these for the front page? the kicker  free home delivery for  6 weeks  this was placed  to show how the times even though usually support   conservative can also be for the people


3) What is the main story on the inside page of the Times CSP edition and how is it constructed to appeal to Times readers? 

 The main story in the inside page  is the massive flood that happened in a  airport due to  a storm the story is constructed to be  eye catching.


4) How are the Times front and inside pages designed to reflect broadsheet newspaper conventions?

The font used in the time newspaper is serif which reflects  there audience as the Rimes  newspaper is usually read by  A1 to C1/C2.


5) What does a close analysis of the news stories in the Times CSP edition suggest about the Times's political beliefs? the news stores about  times radio and cop 26  suggests that the times audiences people that care about the  world    and don't care about trivial things such as  celebrity gossip or entrainment

1) What representation of the Conservative Party can be found in the main story on the front page? we can find connotations of power through   how they present Boris


2) What representations of Britain can be found on the front of the Times? powerful through the crest


3) How are the super rich represented on the Times front page? The super rich are presented as above everyone else


4) How is climate change represented as an issue in the Times? Are there similarities or differences with how it is represented in the Daily Mirror? Climate change is tossed  aside in times and as dismissed as a normal  thing  that's important but  not a serious threat yet  while as in the daily mirror  the talk about climate change's as if its the   beginning of the apocalypse


5) What representations can you find in the inside pages of the Times CSP? Focus on headlines, articles and images. the representation of the earth in the background show they care about the world

 Audience 1) What is the main readership demographic for The Times newspaper? Add as much detail as you can. The main reader the Times target audience is older with over half the audience aged 55+. In terms of social class, they are overwhelmingly in the ABC1 social classes - 62% from social group AB. This means Times readers are likely to be professionals, managers or company owners 2) What aspects of the front page of the Times CSP edition suggest that their readers are likely to be more educated and interested in hard news rather than entertainment?  This suggested through the lack of picture and images shown . 3) Times readers are mostly over 55 years old. Why is this and how is this reflected or challenged by the new stories in the CSP pages we have studied?  This reflected as most  people  who read newspapers are educated and as you don't  expect young people o read grammys 4) What are the main audience pleasures offered by the Times? Camera work and editing: blog task

 Q1 Hand-held camera: the alley way scene is hand held camera. The director done this to show he is being chased  and it adds edginess  towards the chase scene. Pan: pan is used inn the alley way chase scene. The director chose this  because   this show some realism and as if you are in first-person watching them run past. Crane: the crane is used to show high angles and is shown when The precrime division are flying down in the alley way this is because the director wanted to show fear of being track down by authority Q2 Pacing:  the slow pace at the beginning of the clip is used to build tension  and is meant  to show the  precrime division slowly catching up to tom cruise  when they locate him the pace is suddenly changed to quick this usually done in action scenes this is done to show the stakes are high. dissolve: this is when a shot melts into  another this is done at  the end of a film.     Q3 Close up: this  when you can only see a characters face done to show  expression. extr
