Camera work and editing: blog task

 Q1

Hand-held camera: the alley way scene is hand held camera. The director done this to show he is being chased  and it adds edginess  towards the chase scene.

Pan: pan is used inn the alley way chase scene. The director chose this  because   this show some realism and as if you are in first-person watching them run past.

Crane: the crane is used to show high angles and is shown when The precrime division are flying down in the alley way this is because the director wanted to show fear of being track down by authority

Pacing:  the slow pace at the beginning of the clip is used to build tension  and is meant  to show the  precrime division slowly catching up to tom cruise  when they locate him the pace is suddenly changed to quick this usually done in action scenes this is done to show the stakes are high.

dissolve: this is when a shot melts into  another this is done at  the end of a film.

Close up: this  when you can only see a characters face done to show expression.

extreme close up: this is done to show a focus on a object,
